Dear Oak,
We have officially survived our first Thanksgiving together and we are now in the most merriest and craziest of seasons. Sigh. I love Christmas. I'm currently trying to convince your dad to buy me enough ugly sweaters and Christmas shirts so I can wear them the entire month of December. As of right now, he's not on board. He's not very festive.
This Thanksgiving we had the house full. I hope it always stays like that. You won't see the significance now, but I hope you always come home for the holidays. Or maybe live in the backyard so you don't have a choice. No pressure. Remind me to tell you the trick I played on Oma/Gypsy/Gigi (there's some confusion on what her name is) this Thanksgiving. As expected, I was very clever. And don't worry, your time will come that I will plot against you in the most funniest of ways. I'm excited for that.
You are getting so big and I'm so excited for all of the traditions we are starting with you at this very special time of year.
Love you buddy,
Mom
